Last Day in Africa...

Right now, it's Sunday evening in South Africa. We depart for home tomorrow in the early afternoon. If there are no delays, we should be home in the early afternoon on Tuesday. Can't believe how fast this 3 weeks has gone.

This is a beautiful country. The bugs are different, the candy bars are different, the milk is way different, everybody drives on the other side of the road, vocabularies are different...and we're going to miss it tons.

At the game reserve last week, we saw plenty of elephant, cape buffalo (scary), giraffe, kudu, zebra, hippo, monkeys, really weird birds, and more. What a great place. I will be posting plenty of pics after we return.

I'm praying hard because this next 24 hours will be the hardest for Jeanne-Mari. Saying good-bye to family is never easy. But it's always extra-hard when dealing with these differences. Seriously, I thank God now for Facebook and Skype. Both of these have made keeping up with family and friends over here much easier. Who said social media is all bad?

Moving right along in my "slow read." Currently, I'm on chapter 16 of Revelation. I've really learned a ton and am looking forward to continuing.

Have I mentioned that I'm ready to hang out with all our cool HPY students? Man, I have missed those guys/gals. I am SOOO looking forward to our Sunday meetings with student leaders. One of my favorite things.

God is good. Don't forget to invest in the life of a teen. There is nothing better.
