Update on Jeanne-Mari

Jeanne-Mari is my wonderful wife of (almost) 16 years. She's pretty cool. :)

For several days now, she's had a pretty serious pain in her lung. Usually, these go away within a few days, but this has held on and has gotten worse. So we finally called her doctor and he had us go in for x-rays. The trip there was brutal...she was in a lot of pain...but we finally got done, got home, and heard from the doc.

She's got a condition called a "lung infiltrate." It's kind of a localized pneumonia. There's a decent explanation of it here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090723005930AAKZ9eL. She's on some heavy-duty antibiotics again (not unusual for her) and everything should be a LOT better in the next few days.

So please keep praying for her. We love you all and love that you care and pray. No matter what, God is always, always good.

-Mike

Background PS: Jeanne-Mari has Cystic Fibrosis; a genetic disease that presents mostly in the lungs. She has been incredibly healthy over the years, all things considered, and we have learned to cherish and enjoy every single day together. She rocks.
